Browser Notifications

Enable browser push notifications so you get alerts even when the app isn't open.

Install as App

To install on iPad or Mac, open this file in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

For full push notifications, host this file on a web server (e.g. Netlify free tier) and follow the setup guide below.

Forward Emails → Auto-create Tasks

Because this app runs locally (no server), email forwarding needs a small Power Automate bridge. Here's the simplest setup:

Option A — Shared Mailbox (Recommended)

Create a shared mailbox in MS365 admin (e.g. lctracker@yourschool.org)
In Power Automate → New flow → When a new email arrives in a shared mailbox
Add action: Create file in OneDrive → save subject + body as a .txt file to a folder
Forward any email to that address — check the OneDrive folder, copy the text, use From Email in the app

Option B — Subject Tag in Your Own Inbox

Forward any email to yourself with [LC TASK] added to the subject
Power Automate flow: When a new email arrives → filter subject contains [LC TASK]
Action: Send me a mobile notification or save to OneNote/OneDrive
Open the saved email text → use From Email button to parse it into a task

Quick tip — right now

On your Mac: open the email in Outlook → select all (⌘A) → copy → tap From Email in the Tasks view → paste. The parser will extract the school, date, staff contact and notes automatically.
